Owned by the Redding Rancheria, Win-River Resort & Casino is located in Redding, in Northern California, a few miles off Interstate 5 and directly off Highway 273. The property features a three-story 84-room and suite non-smoking hotel with two restaurants and a lounge. There would also be a nine-story hotel that would feature 225 guest rooms and 25 suites, with no outdoor entertainment venue or retail shopping center. Included in those plans are 1,200 slot machines, 36 table games and high-stakes poker while the restaurants would include a buffet, 24-hour deli, sports bar and grill, food court and several smaller venues.
While there are seven development options for the I-5 land, the tribe reportedly prefers the option that proposes a 383,893-square-foot casino resort. Update 2023: The Redding Rancheria is waiting for the Bureau of Indian Affairs to transfer 232 acres of its land along Interstate 5 into federal trust to allow relocation of the Win-River Casino.
